Blue Racers Add to Their Passing Game

MARION, OH- The Marion Blue Racers are proud to announce that former West Virginia Wesleyan standout and Green Bay Blizzard Quarterback, Adam Neugebauer, former Marion Mayhem Quarterback Tavares Woodley, and former Wisconsin Wolf Pack, 6'4" 225 lb, Wide Receiver Marcus Lewis has agreed to join the Marion Blue Racers.

While at West Virginia Wesleyan College, over the last two seasons, Adam led WVWC to a 9-2 record in 2011. He led Division II in five offensive categories in 2011 (4,111 yards, 40 touchdowns, 353 completions, and per game averages of 32 completions and 372 yards.) Neugebauer, who was also second in the country in attempts and completion percentage, broke over 10 school records. He was named Super Region One and WVIAC Offensive Player of the year, a Harlon Hill Top 9 finalist (given to the country's top Division II player), Division II Quarterback of the Year, and a First Team All American. He has competed in the Aztec Bowl in Chichiwawa, Mexico, and the Hansen Bowl, earning MVP honors in the latter.

Tavares Woodley is a Florida native from Florida City. He was a highly ranked Quarterback out of Homestead Senior High and was rated the number one(1) Quarterback coming out of Dade County and ranked third in the State of Florida his Senior year. After graduating from FIU, Woodley played with the Fairbank Grizzlies (IFL), Marion Mayhem, Chicago Slaughter, and 2012 UIFL runner-up Florida Tarpons.

Lewis, most notably, led the CIFL in receptions in 2010 while with the Wolf Pack. Lewis and his Wolf Pack was the first team to defeat the Cincinnati Commandos before losing to Cincinnati in the CIFL Championship game that year.
