Blue Racer Mini Camp Scheduled for November

MARION, OH - The Marion Blue Racers Professional Football team is proud to announce that the first official UIFL minicamp will be held in Marion, OH at the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, November, 12th and Sunday, November 13th. Both days will consist of one morning and one afternoon practice and will be open to the public.
Official autograph sessions will be held after each practice session. No unauthorized personnel will be allowed on the field otherwise. Come preview Central Ohio's ONLY professional football team as they commence preparation for a 2012 UIFL championship run. In their first year, the Blue Racers [9-3] lost in the CIFL Championship to their rival Cincinnati Commandos. Along with returning Blue Racer players and staff, Marion has also added former Ohio State Buckeye and Super Bowl XXXIV St. Louis Ram Lorenzo Styles, as head coach. Styles will work to improve an already talented Blue Racer team as they prepare for the 2012 football season in a new league.
"We strive to stay consistent with the purpose of the UIFL," Vice President of Operations Ryan Sawyer said.
"This minicamp will serve as a training ground to develop professional players and coaches. It also gives our wonderful Marion fans a preseason look at their 2012 Blue Racer football team."
The Marion Blue Racers welcome the Marion community and fans into The Coliseum for a November weekend of locker room tours, meet and greets, family fun, and of course, football.
