
Blue Bombers Ink Import Wide Receiver

WINNIPEG, MB., May 5, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has added import wide receiver Donavon Kemp.
Kemp (6-1, 195, Texas - El Paso (UTEP), December 29, 1988 in Dallas, Texas ) played his collegiate football at UTEP. Kemp played in 28 career games and totaled 61 receptions for 1,063 yards and seven touchdowns during his four years. He also had a special teams role, blocking for kickoff and punt returns, while also doing some returning for the Miners during his collegiate career. He returned 19 kickoffs for 425 yards (24.4 yard average). He signed with Seattle in August 2013, after being on the Cowboys' injured reserve in 2012. He also spent some time with San Diego in the NFL.
