Bloomington Thunder Announce 2013-14 Schedule

Bloomington, IL - The Bloomington Thunder have announced their 2013-2014 schedule including a home and away game with every team in the SPHL.
The Thunder opens their season with a rivalry game against the Peoria Rivermen on October 25. During the game a new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from O'Brien Mitsubishi of Normal will be given away following a live drawing on the ice. Season ticket-holders will automatically have 10 entries into the car drawing. Walk up entries will be limited to one per person 18 years or older.
Of the 28 scheduled home dates at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, 24 of them will be played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Opening face-offs will again be at 7:05 p.m. except for Sundays at 3:05 p.m.
The 10 teams of the SPHL play home and away games at each arena with the top eight teams advancing to a three-round playoff structure at the conclusion of the 56 game regular season.
The Thunder are currently working on a promotional calendar that will be released prior to the start of the season.
