Mississippi Miracles receive: 2007 WBA Rookie Camp MVP 6'5 G/F Brian Greene (6'5''-G, agency: Ultimate Sports Agency ) (Florida A&M) 1st round 6th selection, 6'8 F Lonnie Jackson (Ole Miss) -2nd round 2nd selection - and 6'7 F Willie Barnes - 3rd round 7th selection.

Texas Tycoons receive: 7'1 260lb. Center Aristide Sawadogo (7'1''-C-81, college: Clayton State) - 1st round 8th selection plus undisclosed considerations.

Chris Terrell , Director of Basketball Operations for the World Basketball Association and Head Coach for the Texas Tycoons made the announcement at a press conference held in Dallas Thursday morning and stated "I think this is something that will help both teams and the players involved. Coach Ashmon got 3 potential starters on his team and with the team we already have adding the true 5 will help us get where we want to go. We're looking forward to an exciting 2007 WBA season and helping these players get in the right situations to help them get to the next level." When asked why Texas didn't select Sawadogo with the 6th overall pick, he was chosen 8th overall in the first round by Mississippi, Coach Terrell said "There are some aspects of this deal that are undisclosed but it was all about drafting by value and then manuevering from there."
