
Blitz Travel to Washington to Take on the Everett Hawks

BAKERSFIELD - The Bakersfield Blitz are continuing their run for a championship as they head to Washington to take the field against the Everett Hawks on Saturday, July 8. Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m. in Everett Event Center.
This will be the second time the Blitz and Hawks have met this season. In their first meeting, the Blitz brought home a 60-54 victory on March 30. The Blitz are currently ranked third in the National West Division with an overall record of 7-5. The Hawks remain in last place in the division with an overall record of 3-9.
Head Coach Compton commented on Everett's improvements. "The Hawks are an improved team with new coaching staff, definitely not the same team we saw the first week we played. We will have to give it our best on Saturday."
The game will be broadcasted live on KERN AM 1410 with host, Puck Whitnack. The game can be viewed on FSN - Northwest on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
