
Blitz suspend QB Elliott

Bakersfield Blitz News Release
Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Blitz have announced several transactions today. QB Chad Elliott was placed on Team Suspension today, making him ineligible for games or practice with the team for two full weeks. In addition, Ashlee (A.J.) Chambers, a rookie out of Upper Iowa University, joins the club in time for their trip to Central Valley this Saturday.
WR/DB Deondre Alexander was activated from the short-term injured reserve today as well, and WR/LB David Bautista was placed on short-term IR. He will be ineligible to play this weekend as well as May 7th in Bossier-Shreveport. Bautista left the field injured on Wednesday at practice.
Saturday's Blitz game will air live on KGEO "Hot Talk" AM 1230 from the Selland Arena in Fresno at 7:30 p.m. The Blitz pre-game show will start at 7:15 p.m. with the "Voice of the Blitz" Kevin Bartl. The Blitz return home to host the Tulsa Talons on Friday, May 13th at 7:00 p.m. That night, the first 2,000 fans will receive a Blitz Dashboard Memo Pad, courtesy of KGEO AM 1230.
