Week five af2 Friday night matchup

MANCHESTER WOLVES (2-1) AT MACON KNIGHTS (2-2)

FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 2005 - MACON COLISEUM (7,182) 7:30 P.M. ET

The Manchester Wolves look to make it three in a row as they make their way to Macon to take on the Knights in af2's only Friday night matchup. Last week Wolves QB JAKE EATON completed a 12-yard touchdown pass to WILLIAM FERGUSON with 1:10 left in the game to give Manchester the 56-49 victory over the Albany Conquest. In a rare defensive battle, Macon found themselves on the losing end of a 28-18 game on the road in Green Bay. The Knights' MATT JACKSON led the defense with six tackles and a forced fumble in a strong showing of the Macon defense. Manchester's J.J. MCKELVEY, who hopes to continue his solid play this week, leads all Wolves receivers with 31 catches for 278 yards and seven touchdowns. This is just the second ever meeting for these two teams with the Macon taking the first matchup in Week 4 of last season. They'll meet once more this season on June 8 at Manchester.
