
Blaze's Home Arena Changes Name

SALT LAKE CITY - Centennial Management Group, in conjunction with West Valley City, announced a new partnership and naming rights of the "E Center", current home arena of the Utah Blaze. The arena will be renamed Maverik Center.
Maverik, the region's leading convenience and gas retailer headquarter in Utah, finalized a multi-year agreement including exclusive sponsorship, advertising rights and prominent signage on the exterior and interior of the building. The venue will also feature Maverik's proprietary "adventure theme", a new Maverik concession outlet, and will also exclusively sell a number of Maverik proprietary products.
The Blaze are currently in their first season at West Valley City's premiere entertainment venue after spending three seasons at EnergySolutions Arena, located in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Blaze return home for a two-game home stint starting this Friday as they face the Chicago Rush on Saturday, June 12 with kickoff at 7 p.m. The following week, the Tampa Bay Storm come to town to face the Blaze on Saturday, June 19.
