
Blaze's Gron Named Top CHL Rookie for November

The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, have gathered another Central Hockey League award as Tyler Gron has been named the 50/50 Central/CHL Rookie of the Month for November.
In 14 November contests, Gron registered 9 goals and 9 assists for 18 points. The native of Spruce Grove, Alberta leads CHL rookies in goals (10), points (20), game-winners (2) and shot percentage (.213). He played four seasons at Northern Michigan University, scoring 44 goals.
The Blaze sit in third place in the CHL standings with an 11-7-1 record good for 23 points. The Blaze host the Missouri Mavericks in a rare Thursday night contest at U.S.
Cellular Coliseum. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with pre-game on WJBC.com and CHL-TV at 6:45. Thursday is College Night featuring $5 admission with college ID and $2 draft beers.
