Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have signed 2002-born forward Daylan Kuefler to a standard WHL education agreement.

Kuefler is from Stettler, AB and played this past season with the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs of the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League. In 35 games, he had 12 goals, 19 assists and 31 points.

He was originally chosen by the Blazers in the 10th round, 212th overall after playing his 2016-17 Bantam hockey season with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes.

"Daylan had a terrific season playing Midget AAA this season in Red Deer," commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "We are excited to add Daylan and his family to the Blazers organization."

Kuefler, who stands at 5'11" and 155lbs, joins five other players from the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft that the Blazers have signed including forward Josh Pillar (1st round), goaltender Dylan Garand (3rd round), defenseman Trevor Thurston (4th round), defenseman Ethan Brandwood (7th round), and forward Riley Ginnell (7th round).
