Justin Leclerc stopped 42 of 44 Blazer shots and CJ Stretch picked up 3 assists as the Blazers posted a 4-2 win in Spokane on Saturday night.
Nick Ross put the Blazers up 1-0 in the first before Tyler Johnson tied the game five minutes later. Cole Grbavac then put the Blazers 2-1 late in the first with Jimmy Bubnick upping the lead to 3-1 early in the second. Jake Trask extended the lead to 4-1 early in the third before Jared Spurgeon brought the Chiefs back to within two - but they could get no closer.
Final shots were 44-32 Chiefs with Leclerc getting the win and Dustin Tokarski taking the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-8 on the PP and 4-for-5 on the PK.
