
Blaze to hold dancer tryouts, workshop

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze announce dance team tryouts for the 2007 Harley Davidson Blaze Team will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at Sheraton City Centre Hotel from 3-10 p.m. The cost will be $15 with registration beginning at 2 p.m.
In addition, there will be a Pre-Audition Workshop on Saturday, August 5 from 12 to 3 p.m. at XCEL Fitness/Jordan Landing in West Jordan. Cost of the workshop will be $25.
Both events are open to participants who are 18 years or older and a high school graduate by August 23. Participants are asked to bring a headshot and body shot. For further information contact Tom Schimpf at 257-3489 or toms@utahblaze.com. To register, go to www.utahblaze.com.
The Utah Blaze were winners of the 2006 Commissioner's Award, given to the Arena Football League's organization of the year, and the Best Support Staff Award. The Blaze led the AFL in attendance and qualified for the postseason in just their first season.
