Blaze Sign Defensive Back Dahnel Singfield

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze announce the signing of defensive back DAHNEL SINGFIELD (6-1, 190, Buffalo). The former Gladiator agreed to a one-year contract today. Terms of the contract were not disclosed due to team policy.
In 2007, Singfield played for the New York Dragons and the Las Vegas Gladiators. So far this season, he has recorded 26.5 total tackles. In 2006, he ranked second on with the Dragons in total tackles (63.5) while adding seven interceptions and nine pass breakups. Singfield was also named to the 2006 All-Rookie Team. In 2005, Singfield played in the af2 where he was named Defensive Player of the Year.
In other moves, the Blaze placed WR/DB ORSHAWANTE BRYANT (6-0, 191, Portland State) on injured reserve and signed DB MICHAEL DAVIS (6-2, 186, Arizona State) to the practice squad.
