Blaze Look to Rebound in Springfield

The Chicago Blaze (0-1) return to action on Thursday when they travel to Springfield, Massachusetts to face the Springfield Spirit (1-0), led by Sue Bird (WNBA Seattle Storm) and Swin Cash (WNBA Detroit Shock).The game will mark the return of Chicago guard E.C. Hill to the New England area where she once starred for the New England Blizzard.
The Blaze return home on Saturday to face Sheryl Swoopes (WNBA Houston Comets) and the Houston Stealth (1-0) in their home opener. The game will be held at the DePaul Athletic Center located at 2323 N. Sheffield Avenue. Game time is 7:30 pm. For ticket information, please visit www.chicagoblaze.com.
On Friday, February 14th ,the Blaze will host a special Valentine's Day "MEET âN GREET" at ESPNZone from 6:00 â 8:00 pm. The event is open to the public.
The NWBL showcases professional women basketball players across the nation; including players from the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) who choose to stay in the U.S. to play during the off-season. The 2003 season will run from February through April.
