
Blaze Host Rush with Holiday Prices and Ticket Giveaways

The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, enter the Christmas break with a pair of home games this Friday and Saturday against the Rapid City Rush.
The Blaze are tied for fourth with the Rush in the Central Hockey League with a 14-10-1 record good for 29 points, while the Rush make their second trip of the season to Bloomington with a record of 12-9-5. The Rush lead the CHL in overtime losses. The teams have split the previous four meetings this season, with both going 1-1-0 in each building. Face-off each night is at 7:05 and the games can be heard on WJBC.com and on 93.7 FM inside U.S. Cellular Coliseum as well as viewed on CHL-TV. Jon Booras leads the Blaze with 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) and is second in CHL scoring. Booras and Nicklas Lindberg each have two goals and four assists against the Rush. Damien Surma leads the Rapid City attack with seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points, with two goals and six assists coming against the Blaze.
The Junior Blaze also enter the holiday break with games on Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m. against the Rhinelander Street Cats. Admission to the Junior Blaze games is included in the Blaze ticket.
The Blaze have special holiday pricing for both games with $5 general bowl seats with a voucher that can be found and printed from www.bloomingtonblaze.com or the Blaze Facebook page. Tickets to a suite for a pair of upcoming sold-out concerts by Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan will also be given away during each game, with the number of tickets given away increasing as attendance increases.
