Blaze Announces Date of Local 2003 Pre-Draft Tryout

The Chicago Blaze of the National Women's Basketball League ("NWBL") will host its 2003 Pre-Draft Tryout Camp on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday October 27 at Whitney Young High School, 211 S. Laflin, for players interested in playing for the Chicago Blaze in 2003. Interested participants can register on-line on www.chicagoblaze.com. Registration fee is $100.
The Blaze, led by Tamika Catchings (WNBA Indiana Fever) and E.C. Hill (Whitney Young High School) finished the 2002 regular season in first place with a record of 16-4 and went into the 2002 NWBL Pro Cup Championships as the #1 seed before ultimately losing to the Houston Stealth in the championship game.
