
Blasters Series Finale with Gary SouthShore Suspended

Joplin, MO-Tuesday night's series finale between the Joplin Blasters and Gary SouthShore RailCats was suspended due to inclement weather. The RailCats led 2-0 right before the bottom of the fifth inning started. The contest is expected to be continued August 18th at Gary. The Blasters lost two of three in the series and finish their home stand with a 3-3 record. Joplin heads out on the road tomorrow to face Kansas City in its next series. The Blasters will play two doubleheaders Wednesday and Thursday and close out the series with a single game against the T-Bones Friday night.
