Blanchard, Lincoln Named Can-Am League Players of the Week

DURHAM, NC - - The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has selected Worcester Tornadoes INF Boomer Blanchard and Rockland Boulders LHP Roger Lincoln as the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week.

Blanchard had a terrific opening series against Brockton. In four games, the New Iberia, LA resident hit .429 with two home runs and four RBIs. He also scored four runs, collected six hits and had a slugging percentage of .929.

Lincoln was solid in his 4-3 win over the Newark Bears Friday. The Riverview, FL resident tossed seven innings allowing one earned run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts. He is currently 1-0 on the season with a 1.29 ERA.
