Blackburn Returns to Play for Mavericks

Jermaine Blackburn (6'8-220-Guard/Forward) will return to the SETX Mavericks this upcoming season.

Blackburn had a stellar 2009-10 season as he helped the Mavericks capture Back to Back Southwest Division Championships and their first ABA National Championship. The Mavericks compiled a 27-4 record.

Blackburn averaged 19.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assist per game. He was Co-ABA Southwest Division MVP (sharing the award with teammate Josh Pace). He was voted 1st Team ALL-ABA and was the Runner-up to the ABA MVP Award, which was won by Pace.

The Mavericks tip-off play on Thursday, November 11th as they will host the Texas Hurricanes. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

Nutty Jerry's Entertainment Center (NJEC) is now OPEN and will be the new home of the Mavericks! The NJEC is located at 18291 Englin Road in Winnie, TX 77665 off Highway 73.
