
Black Bears Sign Three New Players

Maryland Black Bears News Release
Odenton, MD - The Maryland Black Bears have made three new additions to their roster.
Goaltender Hannes Kollen and defenseman Philip Tornqvist are coming to Maryland from Sweden, making them the first two European players on this season's roster. Kollen was tendered by the Black Bears last spring.Tornqvist and Kollen have some experience playing together, as both played for the Frolunda Hockey Club for several years. Defenseman Dylan Finlay most recently played for the Powell River Kings of the BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League). The 6'1 ¬Â³ 170-pound defenseman is committed to play Division 1 hockey at the University of Vermont, where he will join Black Bears' Captain Luke Mountain.
