Black 47 to Play Titans Halftime Show on St. Patty's Day

The New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League are proud to announce they have signed Irish rockers Black 47 to play during the Titans halftime show on St. Patrick's Day when the Titans take on Buffalo on Saturday, March 17th. Game time is at 12:30pm.
Renown locally and internationally, Black 47's NYC shows have been described as "a rite of passage for all New Yorkers." Led by Larry Kirwan, Black 47 is recognized as the premier Irish-American rock group who paved the way for the current Irish punk/roots explosion led by such bands as Flogging Molly and The Dropkick Murphys. Kirwan helps program Celtic Music for SIRIUS Satellite Radio and hosts his own show, Celtic Crush, twice weekly.
The Titans will take on the Buffalo Bandits next Saturday afternoon, and will look for another win at home. The Titans won their last home game 13-10 against the Toronto Rock last Saturday at the Garden.

Casey Powell and Ryan Boyle Play in All-Star Game this Weekend
Titans Casey Powell and Ryan Boyle will represent the Eastern division in the NLL's All-Star Game to take place Saturday, March 10th at 10pm (EST) in Portland. Powell is currently ranked first in the league in assists with 46 and third in the league in points with 66. Boyle is currently ranked seventh in the league in points with 57 off of 22 goals and 35 assists. The game will air on VERSUS on Sunday, March 11th at 2:30 PM EST.
Casey Powell to Host Talk Show on SIRIUS
Titans Captain Casey Powell has inked a deal with SIRIUS Satellite Radio and the National Lacrosse League to host a weekly lacrosse talk show.
Inside The National Lacrosse League with Casey Powell will debut Saturday, March 10 at 9:00 pm ET on SIRIUS channel 114, leading into SIRIUS' play-by-play coverage of the NLL All-Star Game at 10:00 pm ET. The weekly one-hour show, which will feature highlights, news and analysis, will air prior to SIRIUS' NLL "Game of the Week" coverage and will be broadcast exclusively on SIRIUS in both the U.S. and in Canada.
Brendan Mundorf Earns Rookie of the Week
New York Titans forward Brendan Mundorf earned NLL Rookie of the Week honors for Week Ten. Mundorf scored three goals and added two assists for five points and collected two loose balls in the Titans 13-10 home win over the Toronto Rock on Saturday.
Mundorf is one of the most exciting young players in the game, he frequently dives toward the net to score clutch goals. Mundorf has played in eight games this season and has totaled 28 points off of 14 goals and 14 assists.
