Kentucky Bisons News Release
Owensboro, KY - February 03 2009 - The recent winter storm prompted Bisons management to offer a special on tickets to this Wednesday night's game against the Beijing Olympians. They are reducing all tickets to $5.00 for Adults and giving free admission to Children under fifteen for the Feb.4th game that starts at 7:00 PM. "The heat and electricity are on at the SportsCenter and we want everyone to take a break and take advantage of the warm arena and come enjoy a basketball game," said Jay Sills, owner. "The ice storm has affected everyone in the Tri-State area so get out of the cold and come to our game". "The gates open at 6:00 PM but we plan to be there early so no one stands outside," said Sills.
The Bisons postponed a double-header this past weekend against the Atlanta Vision because of the storm. The teams along with the league have scheduled one of the two make-up games for this Monday Feb.9th at 7:00 PM. The other game has yet to be determined.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
