Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following move affecting the roster of Double-A Montgomery prior to Saturday's game against Mississippi:
RHP Jose Mejias received from Charlotte [24 + 2]
Mejias takes the roster spot vacated when RHP Neal Frontz was placed on the Disabled List retroactive to 8/12. The Biscuits return to the Southern League maximum of 24 active players with two players (Frontz, Jason Perry) currently on the Disabled List.
