
Birmingham Magicians Present Free Agent Tryout Camp

Birmingham, Alabama - The Birmingham Magicians, an expansion team in the American Basketball Association, is holding their second open tryout camp of the summer on Saturday morning September 17th 2005 at 9:30 am. The camp will take place at George Washington Caver High School 2001 West Fairview Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama Head Coach Jim Farmer and his staff will use a variety of tests, individual drills, and team scrimmages to assess the talent level.
This tryout camp is one of the final two open tryout camps for the Birmingham Magicians. In the upcoming weeks, Coach Farmer and his staff will select 25 to 30 players who participated in the camps and ask them back to a third invitational veteran's camp to fill the final roster. That camp will be held in early October in Birmingham. An exact date will be announced shortly.
