
Niagara DareDevils sign Ward

St.Catharines, Ontario - Sep 14, 2005 The Niagara DareDevils announced today the signing of 6'6" G/F Jamal Ward. Ward, a gifted athlete with a 38" vertical and explosive scoring ability will join the DareDevils in Niagara on October 14th for physicals and training camp.
Ward was a standout at the VCU Sportscenter showcase, leading the showcase in scoring with a 20.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg average. He also showed his ability to score from long range, shooting over 40% from beyind the arc.
Ward was also a Top 25 Juco Prospect and All- Conference, All-State Selection leading Carl Sandburg CC in Galesburg IL.
