
Bighorns Drop Close Game in Texas

Reno, Nev. - The Reno Bighorns (13-22) lost their fourth-straight game by less than five points, this time to the Texas Legends (17-20) 94-91 Saturday night.
The two teams played back-and-forth all night, with nine lead changes and seven ties in the game. The Bighorns cut the Legends lead to just one point, after Tajuan Porter was fouled on a three-point attempt. Porter made all three free throws to make the score 92-91. Then, with 10 seconds, Texas guard Justin Dentmon hit a jump shot to make the score 94-91. Porter missed a three-pointer at the buzzer to end the game.
Samardo Samuels led the Bighorns, notching another double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Marcus Landry added 16 points and Orien Greene chipped in 11 points.
Texas was led by Dentmon's 26 points. Christian Eyenga added 17 points. Texas out-scored Reno 48-36 in the paint.
Reno returns home on Thursday, March 7th to face the Idaho Stampede.
