Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
Another great crowd turned out on Monday to see game four of the five-game homestand for the Blue Wahoos. They were into the game the whole way including collectively booing Birmingham Barons outfielder Kenny Williams Jr. for throwing a foul ball over the left field wall towards the water instead of into the stands.
As for the rest of the game, the Blue Wahoos got home runs from Cody Puckett and Joel Guzman but it wasn't enough. Corey Smith hit a grand slam for the Baron in the second which proved to be the difference as they evened the series with an 8-4 win.
The series wraps up on Team Tuesday where fans can get autographs of select players prior the game. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m. If you can't make the game, don't forget you can catch all the action with Tommy Thrall and Andrew Green on 1450 ESPN Pensacola beginning with the Pensacola Motor Sports Pre-game show 15 minutes before first pitch. You can also watch the game live by signing up for MiLB.TV!
