Bevington announces position players

Edmonton Capitals News Release
(Edmonton, AB) â Today Manager Terry Bevington announced the 12 position players that have made the club's Opening Day roster. Bevington stated, "I feel good about the position players that will be with the club and I'm looking forward to the games against the Vipers this weekend." Edmonton goes on the road to face Calgary in three exhibition games at Foothills Stadium. Friday's game is scheduled for 7:05 PM, while Saturday and Sunday's games will begin at 1:35 PM. It is expected that the pitching staff will be finalized early next week. Camp schedules for May 16-18 are TBA.

The Cracker-Cats travel to Kansas City on May 19th to open their inaugural season on May 20th against the T-Bones. The home opener will take place on May 27th, when the Cracker-Cats host the Sioux Falls Canaries.
