Bells Release 2017 Schedule

The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce the release of the 2017 West Coast League schedule. The Bells will play a total of 54 games this summer, 27 of which will be at home.

The Bells will open the 2017 season at home Friday, June 2. The opening weekend series will feature a three-game matchup with the Gresham GreyWolves, the only team the Bells did not face during the 2016 season. The 2017 season will also feature a home and away matchup with the 2016 West Coast League champion Corvallis Knights, the Bells' opponent in the 2016 WCL Championship series.

2017 Schedule Highlights include:

- 54 West Coast League games

- 27 home games

- Multiple "$2 Tuesday" promotions and several other fun promotional events

"Joe Martin Field will be once again be filled with great energy and excitement during the summer months," said Bells' general manager Stephanie Morrell. "We look forward to treating Bells fans to competitive baseball and terrific, high value, family entertainment."

The Port Angeles Lefties are the newest addition to the WCL for the 2017 season, and will join the WCL North Division alongside the Bells, Kelowna Falcons, Victoria HarbourCats, Walla Walla Sweets and Wenatchee AppleSox. The South Division will now consist of five teams: the Bend Elks, Corvallis Knights, Cowlitz Black Bears, Gresham GreyWolves and Yakima Valley Pippins.

The 2017 West Coast League All-Star Game, which will be held on Tuesday, July 18, will be hosted by the Yakima Valley Pippins and held at Yakima County Stadium.
