Snohomish County Explosion News Release
Monroe, WA - The Snohomish County Explosion lost a tough fight against local rival Bellingham Slam, 115-108.
After the 2nd half, the Explosion trailed by 13, a lead that the team almost overcame at one point, but Bellingham fought hard to keep their lead. Explosion guard Jamal Miller was ejected from the game early in the 2nd quarter due to a highly contested call, a call from the referees that set the pattern for the night's calls. Donald Watts lead the Explosion with 26 points, Justin James following close behind with 22.
The tightly contested game was attended by 984 fans at the Monroe Sports Arena. The Slam's Jared Stevenson lead the Slam with 23 points and Ryan Diggs had 20.
