Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Three Impact U23 players, midfielders Louis Béland-Goyette and Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé, as well as forward Charles Joly, have been invited to take part in a training camp with the Canadian U20 team, in Sunrise, Florida, from May 11 to 18.
The group is currently preparing for the CONCACAF U20 Championship, which will lead to the FIFA U20 World Cup, in New Zealand in 2015.
Last September, Gagnon-Laparé earned his first call up with the senior Canadian national team, playing in two official friendlies against Mauritania.
This marks the first international cap with the U20 national team for both Joly and Béland-Goyette.
