Beijing Aoshen Stung by Orange County Buzz 112-97

Maywood, CA - Playing it's second game in row, the Orange County Buzz knocked off the Beijing Aoshen Olympian 112-97. "After losing to the Gallup Talons last night we knew we had to come into the game and get a win" stated Head Coach Burrel Lee III. "I told my guys last night that I watched them on Thursday and the wanna keep the game slow and low scoring, so we came out pressing and running" Lee added.

The Buzz lead by 4pts after the first quarter, but the Olympian came roaring back in the last 1:30 of the 2nd quarter lead by Fred Vinson 3/3 from the 3pt line in that time span to take a 55-56 halftime lead.

The Buzz took control of the 2nd half outscoring the Olympian 57-41. "We knew we had to to come in a play hard, this is a good team with great players, but we stepped up to the challenge and came out on top. This was a total team effort" added SG Lamar Gayle who finished with 31pts, 9rebs and 5 steals.

Orange County was lead by Gayle (33.5ppg & 11.5rpg), PG AJ Diggs 11pts, 7reb and 10ast, Forward Rudy Williams 16pts & 17rebs and Andre Jackson who was the spark off the bench with 15pts.

Aoshen Olympians were lead by Fred Vinson 23pts (only 3 in the second half) Yue Sun 11pts, 10rebs and 8ast (7 turnovers also) and Xin Jin who added 18pts.
