Bees Take on Patriots in Opener of Seven-Game Trip

The Bees: Coming off a series win over Bridgeport, the Bees enter this series just five games in back of Somerset in the second half Liberty Division standings with a 20-27 record. Overall, the Bees are 56-61.

The Opposition: The Patriots begin the second half of their six-game homestand tonight after dropping two of three to Lancaster. At 25-22 in the second half, the Patriots hold a slim half game lead over Bridgeport for the top spot in the Liberty Division.

Key to the Game - Start the playoff push The Bees and Patriots meet tonight for the first out of ten times in the second half, and the Bees trail the Patriots by five games in the standings. If the Bees have plans at making a push towards a second half Liberty Division title and playoff spot, a win in tonight's series opener will point them in the right direction.
