
Bees place Dulle and Voltera on injured reserve

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (Central Hockey League) today announced that defenseman Kurtis Dulle and right wing Rob Voltera have been placed on the 14-day injured reserve list. The team also announced the signing of forward Matt Rogers.
Dulle's injured reserve assignment is retroactive to December 2. He is the second-leading scorer among Bees defensemen with 12 points (3-9-12). Voltera's assignment is retroactive to December 3. He has nine points (3-6-9) in 12 games since signing with the Bees on Nov. 9.
Rogers, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound forward, joins the Bees after starting the season with Cincinnati (ECHL). There he played in seven games and collected an assist and eight penalty minutes. The 24-year-old Manchester, NH, native was a training camp member of the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) and also appeared on New England Sports Network's Be a Bruin.
The Bees play another three-in-three weekend including home games on Friday (vs. Corpus Christi) and Saturday (vs. Laredo). The first 2500 fans each night receive Thunder Sticks. Saturday night's game will also feature Cameron "Superfan" Hughes. Face off each night is set for 7:30 p.m.
Friday's game will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 1240 AM, while Saturday and Sunday (at Laredo) will air on Jammin' 104.9/95.3 FM. Saturday night's game will also be televised on Televisa XERV-9 (Cable 19).
