Bees Announce Broadcast Network

(New Britain, Conn.) - New Britain Bees team officials today announced the 2016 radio broadcast schedule and radio network for the Atlantic League ballclub. WDRC, The Talk of Connecticut, will serve as the team's flagship, with a total of 67 games broadcast on 1360-AM. Bees games will also be simulcast on WMMW 1470-AM (Meriden), WCCO 1240-AM (Waterbury), and WSNG 610-AM (Torrington). The full 2016 radio broadcast schedule follows this release.

"We are happy to provide fans in Central Connecticut with multiple platforms to follow the Bees during our inaugural season," says Bees GM Patrick Day. "Fans will be able to follow along pitch-by-pitch every game, whether on the radio airwaves or online."

Fans can enjoy Bees games on the air every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as a special Thursday broadcast on April 21st for New Britain's inaugural Opening Night. Online streams of the radio broadcast will be available by visiting http://www.talkofconnecticut.com/ and clicking "Listen Live."

In addition to the radio broadcasts, all 140 regular season games will be broadcast on the team's official website, www.nbbees.com. Each home game at New Britain Stadium will include a live video and audio stream via the Bees Official YouTube Channel, available at Youtube.com/NewBritainBees. Each game will be preceded by the pre-game show, beginning 15 minutes prior to first pitch.

Chris Knoblock will call all 140 games during the inaugural 2016 season, his first calling Atlantic League action. He will be joined by guests throughout the season, including New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart during the broadcast on April 21st.
