Saturday May 12th, your Tulsa Talons and the Oklahoma Blood Institute are teaming up to give our fans a chance to become a hero. Saturday night's game is dedicated to all of the local "Hometown Hero's ", and we want to know, "Whose life can you save today?"
OBI is the community blood supply, a NON-PROFIT blood center that supply's blood to hospitals and the hundreds of patients that they care for and serve. By donating you have the power to affect the life of someone in need, one blood donation can help as many as three patients and possibly save your own life.
Donors will receive:
- $2.00 off your May 12th TALONS Ticket
- FREE T-shirt from OBI
- FREE drinks and snacks from OBI
- FREE Cholesterol screening from OBI
- A chance to WIN two TALONS Tickets to one Home Game of your choice.
The Talons are taking on the Lubbock Renegades at 7:00 p.m. and giving $2 ticket discounts to Veterans, active military, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Teachers, Nurses, Doctors and more. Fans will be able to receive these discounts at Carson Attractions Box Office (located at the Convention Center), Tulsa Talons Headquarters and at the Game. Don't forget to donate a canned food item to the Salvation Army at the game and receive $2 off your ticket.
Be sure to catch the Hometown Hero's Half-time entertainment: The Second Annual Little Miss Talons Cheerleaders Performance. Last year over 75 girls ages 6 and up had the opportunity to perform at halftime of the Talons Game with the Talons Cheerleaders. All girls participating will receive a T-shirt and Poms.
