Beavers Team With Freedom 970 AM To Air All 144 Games In 2010

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers today announced that they will partner with Freedom 970 AM KCMD to exclusively broadcast all 144 of the team's regular-season games and potential playoff contests during the 2010 season.

"We are excited to grow our relationship with Alpha Broadcasting and 970 AM this season with the Beavers," said Ryan Brach, senior vice president of business development and broadcasting for the Beavers.

Veteran play-by-play broadcaster Rich Burk once again will anchor the broadcasts, while Tim Hagerty returns for a third season of color analysis and play-by-play.

"We welcome the Portland Beavers to our Freedom 970 KCMD lineup where you now hear Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Dennis Miller," said Brian Jennings, director of talk programming for Alpha Broadcasting's KXL, KXTG and KCMD. "Freedom 970 and the Portland Beavers are a great combination."

The first broadcast of the 2010 season on Freedom 970 AM will be Thursday, April 8, as the Beavers open up the Pacific Coast League campaign against the Sacramento River Cats at PGE Park. The season concludes Monday, Sept. 6, against Las Vegas.
