Beat to Kick off Minicamp on Monday

WHO: The Atlanta Beat, Atlanta's Women's Professional Soccer Team, including members of the Canadian and U.S. Women's National Teams that qualified for the 2003 Women's World Cup. National Team players include Charmaine Hooper and Sharolta Nonen of Canada and Briana Scurry and Cindy Parlow of the U.S.

WHAT: Post Season minicamp Team to participate in a weeklong training camp before heading into the official post season.

WHEN: Monday, November 11 - Friday, November 15

TIME: Monday - Wednesday, Training, 3-5 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.
Friday, Intersquad scrimmage 3 p.m.
WHERE: Agnes Scott College

Directions:

From Downtown/Midtown

Take Ponce de Leon Avenue east. After exiting the Atlanta city limits, look for St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church and the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany (both are on the right). About a quarter mile past these two churches and after you pass beneath an arched railroad trestle, the road will fork, and you will veer right onto West Ponce de Leon Avenue. Follow to Trinity Place; take a right on Trinity. Follow Trinity past the Dairy Queen, over the railroad tracks through the light (College). About 100 yards on the right is East Dougherty St. Turn right onto E. Dougherty. There will be a small parking lot on the right and the field is across the street.

From I-85 Take I-85 North to the Clairmont Road exit. Turn right onto Clairmont Road. Turn right onto Commerce Drive. Turn left onto Trinity Place. Follow Trinity past the Dairy Queen, over the railroad tracks through the light (College). About 100 yards on the right is East Dougherty St. Turn right onto E. Dougherty. There will be a small parking lot on the right and the Field is across the street.
