
Bears wait for opponent, announce second round dates

The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club, coming off a first round sweep of the Norfolk Admirals, will face either the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins or the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the next round. The Penguins finished the AHL regular season with a 51-18-5-6 mark good for 113 points and first place in the Eastern Conference while the Sound Tigers finished with a 38-33-6-3 record producing 85 points and a fourth place finish. HERSHEY is making their 57th appearance in the playoffs (AHL record).
The best-of-seven game series formats vary due to regular season results. The BEARS will host Games three, four, and six against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Games one, two, five, and seven vs. Bridgeport. Tickets are now on sale at the GIANT Center Box office for the first two home games in Round Two (PL03 and PL04). To order tickets, call (717) 508- BEAR.
