(Waldorf, M.D., Aug. 12, 2010) - The Newark Bears and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs were rained out on Thursday night at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, Maryland.
Thursday's (8/12) game will be made at a later date, which has yet to be determined.
The Bears continue their road trip and head to Bridgewater to face the Somerset Patriots in a three-game series beginning Friday night. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark. Fans can tune into all the action at www.newarkbears.com with David Greenwald providing the play-by-play. The Bears return home a short three-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers on Tuesday, August 17. Game time is set for 11:05 a.m., with the gates of Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium opening at 10:05 a.m. to accommodate the "Camp Day" festivities.
