NEWARK, NJ - September, 5 2006 - The game between the Newark Bears and Long Island Ducks at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium Tuesday evening was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, September 6 with the first game starting at 5:05 pm. All fans with tickets to Tuesday night's game may redeem their tickets at the Bears box office for any 2006 home game.
On Wednesday, gates open to The Den at 4:05 pm to Wear it! Win it! Wednesdays. Wear bears apparel to the box office and receive $1 off your box seat. If the Bears win everyone may redeem their ticket for a future 2006 Bears home game.
