BAYSOX REWIND - THE WEEK THAT WAS

Liz retired 17 straight batters in the contest and only four Harrisburg players reached base, three on walks and one batter was hit by a pitch. The last Baysox player to throw a no-hitter was Matt Bailie in 2005 on the road at Erie. For his accomplishment Liz was awarded Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.

As for the Baysox, they suffered their second series sweep of the season at Connecticut, dropping a three game series (6/5 - 6/7). After an off day today (Monday June 11th) the Baysox will be back home for 7 games in 6 days (witha double header on Tuesday 6/12) against Harrisburg and New Britain.
