
Bayhawks-Barrage delayed again due to lightning

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Due to lightning in the Villanova area, the Major League Lacrosse game between the Bayhawks and the Philadelphia Barrage has been delayed with 3:53 left in the first quarter. Philadelphia leads by a 3-2 margin after a pair of goals from midfielder Roy Colsey.
The game was delayed by an hour and 20 minutes due to lightning prior to the start of the game. After play resumed, a second delay was called at approximately 9:10 p.m.
The Barrage took a quick 2-0 lead with 9:56 left in the first quarter on unassisted goals from Colsey and Bobby Horsey. Midfielders Kevin Frew and Kyle Dixon quickly countered for Baltimore, tying the game with back-to-back goals with 7:10 left in the period. Colsey regained the advantage for Philadelphia with his second goal of the game, an unassisted tally past rookie goalkeeper Greg Havalchak with 5:15 left in the stanza.
Now 4-5 on the season, the Bayhawks are looking to extend their two-game win streak while the Barrage are looking to secure a playoff berth with a victory.
