Chesapeake Bayhawks News Release
Towson, Md. â Despite threatening weather predictions due to Hurricane Charley, tonight's Major League Lacrosse game between the New Jersey Pride and the Baltimore Bayhawks is still scheduled to be played at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium at Towson University.
Opening face-off in the regular season finale is still scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Great seats are available at the gates.
Now 6-5 on the season, the Bayhawks are one of four teams fighting for one of three playoff spots. A Baltimore win or a loss by Long Island against Rochester on Saturday night clinches the Bayhawks' fourth straight playoff appearance. If Rochester loses to Long Island and Baltimore wins against the Pride, the Bayhawks will win their fourth straight National Division championship and clinch the second seed in next weekend's New Balance Major League Lacrosse Championship Weekend at Nickerson Field in Boston.
New Jersey enters tonight's game with a 1-10 record and is riding a 10-game losing streak.
