A combined total of 7 hits for the Bay Sox aided their 7-6 victory over the Laconia Muskrats on Tuesday night at Paul Walsh Field. Chris Travers and Carl Anderson both had 2 hits on the night with Travers also having 3 RBI's. The Muskrats had 11 of their own hits but left too many runners on base to out-score the Bay Sox.
The Bay Sox took an early lead in the 1st with 2 runs scored by Ryan Plourde and Carl Anderson and the team remained in the lead for 7 out of the 8 and a half total innings played.
The Muskrats utilized a total of 7 pitches in 9 innings achieving a total of 13 strikeouts, Joe Donino pitching 3 of those 13. Bay Sox pitchers threw a total of 6 strikeouts half of which came from Jeremy Perron.
The Bay Sox add a win to their record which is now 4-9 and the Muskrats fall to 8-4. The Bay Sox next home game is June 26th at 6:30 at Paul Walsh Field against North Adams.
