BattleWings team up with Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission's Fill-A-Bus campaign

Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings News Release


BOSSIER CITY, LA (October 21,2008)- The Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings of af2 are teaming up with the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission in the first annual Fill-A-Bus campaign this Saturday, October 25th from 10-2 at the Shreveport LifeWay Christian Store at 7050 Youree Drive. The Fill-A-Bus program is designed to collect food for the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and for less fortunate families.

BattleWings players and the Fly Girls will be on hand to sign autographs for fans along with Bob and Larry from VeggieTales. K-Love Radio will be on site broadcasting live and will hold drawings for prizes. Residents of the Ark-La-Tex can help the Fill-A-Bus campaign by bringing non-perishable foods to the Shreveport LifeWay Christian Store.
