Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings News Release

BOSSIER CITY, LA (January 29, 2008)-Fans of the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings will now be able to watch all the heart pounding action of the 2008 season live on a "Free-for-View" basis online. All sixteen BattleWings regular season and postseason appearances will be available for viewing thanks to a new partnership between af2 and Network Foundation Technologies (NFT).

With the power of NFT's patented online broadcasting technology, fans across the globe will now be able to bring all the action of af2 football right to their home computer or laptop. "Broadcasting our content online through NFT provides an effective way for the league to reach our loyal fans while extending the af2 brand," af2 President Jerry Kurz said. "NFT's previous success with other sporting league customers has paved the way for the af2 to create an ideal partnership that benefits everyone."

"This is one of the most exciting developments and innovations I've seen in the league's history," noted BattleWings' owner Dan Newman. "For our fans to be able to watch the BattleWings' road games live from any computer anywhere is great. This will only add to the overall growth we're seeing with arena football across the nation."

The BattleWings will hold their final open tryout for the 2008 season on Sunday, March 2nd at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. A non-refundable registration fee of $60 (cash only) is due the day of the tryout. Interested athletes can visit the BattleWings' website at www.battlewings.com for details and information.
