"Battle for First" Decided in Overtime
February 12, 2010 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL)
Cincinnati Kings News Release
The highly anticipated matchup between the 1790 Cincinnati Express and the visiting Louisville Lightning was even better than expected. It was quite a rollercoaster ride, one that would take fourteen seconds of a sudden death overtime period to give Cincinnati the 7-6 victory over Louisville.
Defender Garret Buck was the hero for the Express in overtime, which allowed them to remain a perfect 15-0 at home and 3-0 against the Lightning. Cincinnati only has to win one more match to clinch the PASL's Eastern Division.
The Lightning drop to 9-5, while the Express improve to 10-3.
