Battery to wear new custom LOTTO jersey in 2005

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery will sport a newly designed custom Bianco Nero LOTTO jersey for the 2005 USL First Division season.

The home jersey features the Battery's traditional black and gold stripes with red trim on the shoulders and neck; the jersey also features a low collar. Once again, Rick Hendrick SAAB of Charleston will have its logo prominently featured on the front of the jersey.

The Charleston Battery will wear the new LOTTO jersey for the first time on Saturday, April 23 as the Battery opens its 2005 campaign against long-time rival the Atlanta Silverbacks; gates open at 6:30 PM with kick off set for 7:30 PM.

LOTTO Italian Sport Design has been the official equipment supplier of the Charleston Battery since 2000. The design for the new Jersey came about through the input of Charleston Battery Head Coach, Mike Anhaeuser and LOTTO designer Karine Tellier.
